Transforming pathways to jogging trails in a tennis club

ALP Tennis Club wanted to turn a muddy yard into a safe walkway.

The idea was to create a leveled crack-free concrete pathway and lay out decorative gravel for draining. After two days of concrete works, last load of gravel has been delivered. The tennis club would be fully open next day.

But there was a problem. The surface had no aesthetic appearance as expected!

The curing time of the concrete was typically seven days and full strength would not be reached earlier than four weeks.

The club manager looked for the fastest appropriate coating solutions like paint or decking.

But there was only one proper solution: RUBAPRO seamless wet-pour EPDM surfacing system!

It had been mixed on site and troweled by craftsmen over the surface, adhered directly to concrete. Surface blemishes were easily filled. The result was a beautiful seamless finish.

Tennis club reopened the next day!

Members were quite happy to walk on a resilient, non-skid surface.

The safety surface made with RUBAPRO granules was skid-resistant when wet even under snow. It quickly dries after rain.

Some of them even used this new pathway as a jogging trail.

Technical staff was satisfied. The surface allowed the passage of vehicles without damage. It was self-cleaning even with light rain. It stretched to accommodate cracks on concrete sub-base caused by ground movement.

Easy to maintain, the surface was stain-resistant and cleaned with ordinary soap and water.

The logo of the club has been meticulously applied on the ground.

RUBAPRO seamless wet-pour EPDM surfacing is a durable, long lasting solution.

Years after its opening, some reparations had easily been accomplished with reparation kit.
